Thermal imaging cameras aren’t as simple to operate as first meets the eye. When you see photos on a website (thermal images) that show you thermal anomalies in homes and switchboards by way of colourful images, you need to keep in mind that the majority of these business owners are professionally trained to operate the thermal imaging camera and interpret the images.

Some people think that a thermal imaging camera can detect moisture… the fact is that it can’t. The camera will only measure heat radiation from the imaged object.
